Overview

The Capital Markets Accounting Team at CIBC is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will ensure the integrity and timeliness of financial reporting for Capital Markets business units. This role allows for a hybrid work arrangement, spending 1-3 days a week on-site.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Capital Markets accounting.
• Current accreditation in CPA or working towards it.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial controls.
• Experience in public accounting or financial services is an asset.
• Detail-oriented with strong judgment skills.
• Ability to investigate complex problems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Motivated to achieve accurate results.
