ERA/EFT Enrollment Specialist - Remote

Overview

As an ERA/EFT Enrollment Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the automated receipt of payments and Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) from payers, ensuring all payers have current billing and payment information on file.

In Short

• Review incoming payments to identify eligible payers for EDI, ERA, and EFT processing.
• Create and follow up on enrollment requests for payers.
• Communicate with the clearinghouse to resolve enrollment issues.
• Monitor billing and payment data to identify necessary updates.
• Execute procedures to update billing information.
• Assist the payments department in obtaining missing EOBs.
• Coordinate with payers to obtain or reprocess necessary documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in payment processing and billing.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with payers and clearinghouses.
• Attention to detail for monitoring billing and payment data.
• Ability to follow up and ensure completion of enrollment requests.
• Knowledge of EOBs and payment documentation.
