Manager, Market Access - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Market Access at Calyxo, Inc. will support the execution of reimbursement strategy to create a favorable reimbursement climate for Calyxo products, while interacting with key sales management personnel.

In Short

• Educate and support the sales team on coding, coverage, and payment issues.
• Assist customers with reimbursement challenges.
• Develop presentations and reimbursement tools.
• Identify opportunities for favorable coding and payment decisions.
• Maintain understanding of reimbursement coverage issues.
• Research payer policies and reimbursement.
• Develop and monitor a payer database.
• Support sales training programs.
• Travel 10-20% for customer and payer meetings.
• Attend professional society meetings and reimbursement conferences.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in relevant fields with 7-9 years of healthcare industry experience.
• 5-7 years of medical device coding, coverage, and payment experience.
• Experience in healthcare consulting or business development.
• CPC accreditation preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurer reimbursement.
• Understanding of healthcare benefits and coding systems.
• Ability to interact with healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
