In Short

  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships with payers.
  • Work with the Market Access team including sales, implementation, and billing specialists.
  • Provide competitive intelligence within the market access marketplace.
  • Assist in the development of local market access strategic plans.
  • Minimize FFRCT access barriers and achieve favorable coverage policies.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with regional payers.
  • Coach physicians on reimbursement advocacy.
  • Support commercialization strategy with regional sales teams.
  • Establish relationships with health plan medical directors and key opinion leaders.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and meetings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of healthcare/managed care and reimbursement industry experience.
  • Experience closing commercial payers for coverage decisions.
  • Solid understanding of coverage, coding, payment, and reimbursement policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience developing physician advocates.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Early stage company experience preferred.
  • Willingness to comply with regulatory requirements.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $140,000-$145,000 per year.
  • Variable pay of up to $50,000 per year.
  • Includes stock options.
