Change and Release Planner - ITSM Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Change and Release Planner - ITSM Specialist will administer and support IT infrastructure Change, Configuration, and Release management processes, ensuring compliance and providing training on IT Service Management policies.

In Short

• Establish and maintain configuration and release management records.
• Perform periodic configuration and release audits.
• Ensure proper execution of CCR Management policies and procedures.
• Analyze data and make recommendations for improvements.
• Provide CCR Management training to impacted staff.
• Track and control CCRs for IT infrastructure.
• Identify and validate requirements for the Configuration Management database (CMDB).
• Partner with problem and incident teams on change-related issues.
• Document processes and procedures.
• Assist in researching and resolving change-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Two or more years of related experience.
• ITIL Practice certification desired.
• Experience with Change, Configuration, and Release Management.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and ServiceNow.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
