Outside Sales Representative - Houston, TX - Remote

Overview

CAD Control Systems, a leader in the development, design, and manufacturing of BOP Control Systems, is seeking a skilled, motivated, and dependable Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Houston, TX market. This individual will be responsible for increasing sales and profit through the acquisition and development of new business, maintaining and maximizing existing business, and providing excellent customer service.

In Short

• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
• Travel through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
• Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalog.
• Compute cost of installing machinery and anticipated savings.
• Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts.
• Review existing plant machinery layout for efficiency.
• Estimate delivery dates based on production schedules.
• Arrange for installation of machinery.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and expenses.
• Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor in Marketing, Business or Management preferred.
• 3 to 5+ years’ experience in oil and gas industry sales.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
