Registered Nurse, Transplant Surgery - Remote

Overview

The Registered Nurse in Transplant Surgery is responsible for the planning, delivery, and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to nursing standards.

In Short

• Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, 0700-1900, 24 hours per week.
• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessments and develops care plans.
• Directs and supervises nursing care within the clinical setting.
• Documents patient care according to standard procedures.
• Administers medications and performs treatments as required.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensures quality and continuity of care through collaboration.
• Complies with health and safety regulations.
• Maintains professional growth and assists in staff education.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing discipline.
