Overview

The Medical Assistant II (MA II) provides clinical care and performs clerical duties to support office/clinic functions under the direction of licensed clinicians, contributing to exceptional patient care at UMass Memorial Health.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current BLS or HS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Medical Assistant credential approved by the Massachusetts Department of Health.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various roles within the clinic.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Team player with a focus on patient-centered care.
