IT Project Manager - Remote

Overview

The IT Project Manager role is responsible for both upfront planning and day-to-day oversight of initiatives across business and technology. This role partners with Portfolio Managers, Product Owners, and Technical Delivery Teams to shape delivery plans, anticipate risks, and coordinate dependencies early in the lifecycle.

• Leads end-to-end project planning and execution from intake through deployment.
• Supports project intake and pre-planning efforts, including scope framing and resource alignment.

• Defines and maintains timelines and RAID logs for project visibility.
• Contributes to portfolio-level planning processes.
• Coordinates internal teams and external partners for effective project execution.
• Facilitates regular check-ins and project health reviews.
• Tracks performance against defined metrics and escalates risks proactively.
• Adapts delivery methodologies based on project context.
• Drives continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in project management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Proven track record of leading technology projects.
• Familiarity with multiple delivery approaches.
• Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
• High sense of ownership and accountability.
• Proficiency with project management tools.
• Comfortable working in a distributed team environment.
• Ability to proactively communicate progress and surface risks.
