Intern - Cisco Project Management - Remote

Overview

As a Project Management Intern, you will support our Project Management team, with the goal of enhancing your educational experience through practical, on-the-job learning, assignments, and projects. The Project Management Intern will part of an exciting summer Project that offers an opportunity to work with matrix teams and support activities from Pre-sales through implementation and internal process improvements.

In Short

• Learns the fundamentals of project management
• Becomes familiar with Project reporting, focusing on a Project status, change process and performance dashboard
• Becomes familiar with Smartsheet, an enterprise planning environment, and how to use Project plans to support projects
• Supports the Project management team with day-to-day work that covers various activities across the department
• Assists in the completion of projects and/or process improvements, as assigned
• Participates in department and/or staff meetings
• Fulfills those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by ConvergeOne for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company.

Requirements

• Ability to think strategically and take on open-ended problems Ability to work independently and in teams
• Solid MS office suite skills
• Strong people skills to build relationships with project team members and engineers
• Ability to translate technical ideas into simple, easy-to-understand content
• Ability to work independently, cross-functionally, and on multiple initiatives at the same time with a demonstrable record of driving results
• Detail-oriented and organized
