Overview

The Trauma Registrar is responsible for managing the Trauma Registry Data System and ensuring compliance with the American College of Surgeons and South Carolina DHEC requirements.

• Responsible for electronically managing the Trauma Registry Data System.
• Collect and compile data according to current ICD-CM and AIS coding.
• Work under general supervision of the Trauma Registry Manager.

• Certification in coding preferred (CPC, CCS).
• Full-time position with a 40-hour work week.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of coding systems (ICD-10, CPT).
• Strong attention to detail.
