c/side is focused on solving web security, particularly browser side injections, and is looking for a senior software engineer to help build and maintain a fast distributed backend environment.

In Short

• Design and build high-performance backend services in Rust.
• Maintain and enhance backend services written in Go.
• Collaborate with security researchers to develop production-grade systems.
• Ensure observability, reliability, and scalability in backend services.
• Contribute to design discussions and technical decision-making.
• Fluent in Rust and comfortable with Go and Typescript.
• Experience with event-driven systems and message queues.
• Deploy and operate services on AWS.
• Design robust and secure APIs and backend architectures.
• 4+ years of experience in backend or systems engineering roles.

Requirements

• Strong systems thinking and reasoning about complex distributed systems.
• Experience in high-scale or security-sensitive contexts.
• Eager to work in a dynamic startup environment.
