As a Senior Philanthropic Consultant (internal title: Vice President, Campaigns and Fundraising Strategy), you will use your expertise to provide support to clients from healthcare systems and academic medical centers, colleges and universities, arts and cultural organizations, and many other nonprofits to advance their missions. This is a client-facing position that leads and conducts program reviews, fundraising strategy development and implementation, board development, campaign counsel, and other services as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in development and have held a previous development executive level position in higher education. This position will rely heavily on project management experience, ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines, and proactive time management. The ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment, and accountability for various processes and projects is crucial. Excellent writing skills are critical to support projects that require written work product. Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary to engage with clients.

Requirements

• 15+ years of donor facing fundraising experience in higher education.
• 5+ years of experience leading development organizations.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical skills and strategic thinking.
• Commitment to an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.
• Bachelor’s degree.
