Content Licensing Manager - Remote

Overview

The Content Licensing Manager is responsible for supporting the growth and success of Business Wire’s content licensing and distribution strategy to increase the reach and visibility of Business Wire client press releases.

In Short

• Identify, prospect, and negotiate content distribution and licensing agreements with strategic partners.
• Perform outbound outreach, develop proposals, and manage contract negotiations.
• Manage a portfolio of key partners, ensuring all deal terms are met.
• Oversee content delivery and ensure successful onboarding of partners.
• Handle day-to-day functions such as journalist vetting and invoice approvals.
• Serve as the point of contact for internal teams to execute partnership agreements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline partnership management.
• Help modernize team workflows and adopt new tools.
• Track partner performance using CRM and project management tools.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on partner status and market opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business development or content licensing.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Operational fluency and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CRMs and data analytics tools.
• A collaborative team mindset.
• Process-oriented with a desire to modernize and scale teams.
