We are looking for a Junior Financial Controller to join our growing team in Portugal. This role will support our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities and help drive financial insights that align with our company's objectives.

In Short

Support FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Prepare financial reports, track KPIs, and conduct variance analysis.
Assist in monthly and quarterly closings, including expense reviews, allocations, and performance reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with company objectives and conduct various departmental ad hoc analyses.
Own financial data, ensuring accuracy and consistency while proactively identifying insights and improvement opportunities.
Engage in critical thinking, ready to challenge assumptions and drive process improvements in financial planning, reporting, and systems to enhance scalability and efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related fields.
3-5 years of experience in a finance-related role.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish fluency is a plus.
Experience with BI tools (such as Power BI and Power Query) is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure while managing and analyzing large volumes of data accurately.
