Business Analyst, Finance & Billing - Remote

Overview

The Business Analyst, Finance & Billing serves as a critical bridge between Finance and Technology, translating business strategy into system-enabled solutions that improve financial operations, billing accuracy, and reporting.

In Short

• Partner with Finance leaders to understand business objectives and translate them into clear, measurable business and functional requirements.
• Lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, including stakeholder interviews, workshops, documentation, and validation.
• Develop and maintain business requirements documents, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Ensure alignment between Finance business needs and enterprise platforms.
• Identify process gaps and recommend automation and workflow improvements.
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and testing cycles.
• Support development and testing teams by clarifying requirements.
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Develop test scenarios and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• Experience supporting financial systems and enterprise technology implementations.
• Experience leading business requirements and testing cycles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
