Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience as a CDI Specialist or consultant.
  • RN, BSN, or Health Information Management degree required.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of inpatient coding experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CDI principles and auditing medical records.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Effective communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and payment methodologies.
  • Familiarity with hospital systems like EPIC or MEDITECH desired.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
