Consultant - Retail Performance Improvement - Remote

Overview

The BRG Retail Performance Improvement (RPI) practice specializes in providing strategic, operational, and financial advisory services to retail companies, private equity firms, management teams, boards of directors, investors, hedge funds, and other lenders on companies across the retail space.

In Short

• Support Retail Performance Improvement team on client engagements.
• Conduct analysis and develop recommendations for operational improvements.
• Execute tasks including interviews, operational/financial modeling, and presentations.
• Utilize business, finance, accounting, and analytical skills.
• Collaborate with RPI and BRG experts and client contacts.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and client deliverables.
• Participate in marketing and product development.
• Demonstrate professionalism and integrity.
• Travel to client sites ~80% of the time.
• Work in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, or related field plus 4 years of relevant experience OR MBA/other relevant Master's degree.
• Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Willingness to travel when needed.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Mature presence and intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative analysis.
