Accounts Receivable Specialist - Remote

Overview

Brault is a practice management, billing and coding company exclusively serving acute care independent physician practices. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist who will be responsible for generating revenue through effective and efficient accounts receivable management.

In Short

• Responsible for accounts receivable management including correspondence, denials, appeals, and follow-up.
• Minimum 2 years medical billing experience required.
• Experience with workers comp/auto/third party liability.
• Experience with Athena IDX is highly valued.
• Understanding of HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
• Exposure to ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Understand insurance guidelines including Medicare and other plans.
• Ability to read an EOB and identify benefits application.
• Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday.
• Remote work setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years medical billing experience working with Accounts Receivable required.
• Experience with workers comp/auto/third party liability.
• Experience with Athena IDX highly valued.
• Understanding of and adhering to HIPAA, PHI guidelines.
• Exposure to ICD-10 CPT codes.
• Understand insurance guidelines including Medicare and other government, private, self-insurance, and managed-care plans.
• Ability to easily read an EOB and identify how benefits were applied.
