Backend Engineer (Python) - Remote

Overview

As a Backend Engineer at Locals, you will be responsible for developing new features and maintaining existing ones in a primarily Python-based backend environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in delivering Python-based backend projects.
• Startup experience or comfort with challenges of early-stage companies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong prioritization and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL/Firebase.
• Familiarity with GCP Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, and Redis Streams.
• Experience with GCP/AWS.
• Proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems (Github Actions).
