Overview

The Embedded Firmware Engineer will play a crucial role in building Bragi's R&D in Shenzhen, China, focusing on the development of firmware for Bragi's AI Audio applications.

In Short

• Co-develop firmware with SoC vendors for Bragi AI Audio applications.
• Prototype and integrate drivers and components in C for embedded software.
• Develop unit and integration tests for software integrity.
• Analyze requirements for SoC vendor feature support.
• Identify gaps in vendor offerings and Bragi's support.
• Support SoC vendor development for Bragi App integration.
• Integrate and validate firmware with Bragi Mobile applications.
• Facilitate communication between customers and R&D in Europe.
• Collaborate with Mobile team for compatibility between firmware and mobile apps.
• Enhance support processes through documentation and tooling improvements.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as an Embedded Engineer.
• Native Mandarin speaker with strong English skills.
• Proficient in C programming for embedded systems.
• Experience in debugging low-level software on embedded targets.
• Knowledge of Bluetooth and wireless communication protocols.
• Familiarity with peripheral interfaces like SPI, UART, I2C, I2S, USB.
• Experience in reading sensor datasheets and implementing drivers.
