Overview

Bottomline Technologies is seeking a Senior Production Support Engineer to innovate and ensure customer delight by troubleshooting complex production problems in various environments.

In Short

• Perform production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Maintain multiple local environments for debugging systems.
• Debug code for multiple applications using Bottomline standard tools.
• Collaborate with Implementations and Delivery Teams on defect resolution.
• Act as a senior resource for operational processes and technology.
• Provide training for onboarding team members.
• Participate in department projects and represent Support in initiatives.
• Develop and maintain SQL and script monitors.
• Perform code reviews to assist with root cause analysis.
• Provide after-hours high-severity issue support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 3-5 years of experience in Production Support.
• 1+ years of experience developing Web applications using Java J2EE, Oracle database, and SQL.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities.
• Experience in the complete life-cycle of web-based applications.
• Knowledge of Web Services.
• Familiarity with GIT and Subversion.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic and IBM WebSphere.
• Good understanding of Networking principles.
• Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming and SQL query language.
