Service Technician - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The Service Technician is a key associate in providing outstanding customer experience while providing cost and expense controls. The ideal candidate will be motivated and driven to help support sustainable processes to ensure growth, quality, and scalability in a fast-paced environment.

In Short

• Ability to quickly assess the situation and determine the appropriate steps necessary to resolve the service requests while providing outstanding customer service.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled/emergency preventative maintenance, inspections, and service requests.
• Work on electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, appliances, and more.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment.
• Ensure all workplace safety standards and practices are upheld.
• Maintain regular attendance and excellent punctuality.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Available for on-call service, weekends, and evenings as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to interact professionally with residents and vendors.
• Complete service requests in a professional timely manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance.
• Technical College or Trade Program with HVAC Certification preferred.
• EPA Certification Required.
• Ability to maintain, inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot advanced issues.
• Required equipment - Employee must have their own basic tools.
• Must be knowledgeable of all pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to work and cope well under pressure.
• Strong communication and people skills.
