Systems Engineer Intern - Remote

Overview

This role is more than just coding. We need a software developer intern who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements.

In Short

• Work with the development team to develop and deploy software for internal and client-facing projects.
• Analyze needs and the environment to ensure solutions consider current architecture and future enhancements.
• Use a variety of programming languages including .NET, C++, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Participate in Agile software development.
• Produce technical documentation and design artifacts.
• Develop critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Obtain a Secret clearance.
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field by Winter 2025 or Spring 2026.

Requirements

• Experience with programming languages in a professional, academic, or internship environment.
• Knowledge of software development best practices.
• Ability to learn new languages and frameworks.
• Ability to work in groups.
• Possession of excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Agile development is a plus.
