In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Scala exclusively.
• Lead and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle—from architecture and coding to testing and deployment.
• Work with streaming and messaging tools like Kafka to enable real-time processing.
• Build and manage distributed storage solutions, such as Cassandra.
• Participate in the development and exploration of Knowledge Graphs and other cutting-edge data solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product stakeholders to design technically sound and business-aligned solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong, hands-on expertise in Scala—this is a full development role, not a supporting or scripting position.
• Experience with real-time systems and backend infrastructure.
• Familiarity with tools like Kafka, Cassandra, and other relevant backend technologies.
• Excellent design and architecture skills with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
