Overview

The Supply Chain Director at Boeing Defence UK is responsible for leading the supply chain vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while managing a diverse team and extensive supplier network.

• Lead the Supply Chain Management function for BDUK.
• Manage over 400 suppliers with an annual spend exceeding $300m.
• Drive supply chain development to meet business objectives.
• Establish new business programs across all BDUK segments.
• Interface with UK Government and MoD stakeholders.
• Ensure best practices in supply chain execution.
• Develop community of practice within the supplier network.
• Oversee supplier performance and risk management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of supply chain management experience.
• Degree qualified and/or MCIPs qualified (or equivalent).
• Established network in the supply chain function of Boeing US preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies.
• Experience in risk management and supplier oversight.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.
• Experience with ERP systems beneficial.
