Senior Finance Analyst - Overhead Reporting - Remote

Overview

The Senior Finance Analyst will partner with the BDUK business to deliver sustainable and measured cost performance across headcount, utilization, and indirect spend, reporting to the Head of FP&A and Financial Analysis.

In Short

• Operate as a Business partner to key functional areas of BDUK.
• Support collation of affordability forecasts and track actuals against forecast.
• Prepare variance analysis to understand deviations from forecast and budget.
• Produce monthly ‘Waterfall’ reports on overhead and G&A recovery.
• Manage quarterly updates to BDUK Overhead & G&A Rates.
• Evaluate key Risks and Opportunities to meet Annual Budgets.
• Drive consistency and standardization across the BDUK Finance team.
• Interface with Customers regarding BDUK Rates.
• Collaborate with the Estimating and Pricing team for profitable pricing.
• Gain exposure to Finance Senior Leadership and broader BDUK leadership.

Requirements

• Broad financial acumen and grasp of management accounting methodologies.
• Professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient in Excel modeling and data manipulation.
• Ability to distil complex financial information into clear messaging.
• Strong interpersonal skills for business partnering.
• Ambitious with a focus on personal development.
• Ability to obtain BPSS clearance.
• Current legal authorization to work in the UK.
