Billing and Collections Specialist II - Remote

Overview

The Billing and Collections Specialist II position is responsible for auditing charts to identify billable visits not entered by providers and billing visits to payers. This position will identify missing documentation through chart audits and working with providers to obtain proper billing.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; 2-4 years of medical billing or related experience required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 CPT Coding, medical terminology, and chart auditing.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• A pleasant phone demeanor and ability to communicate positively.
• Detail oriented and able to exercise judgment in confidential matters.
• Compliance with health and vaccination policies required.
