Billing and Collections Specialist I - Remote

Overview

The Billing and Collections Specialist I is responsible for the billing and collections of lines of business and pay sources as assigned by the Billing and Collections Manager. Duties may include creating claims, submitting claims, working A/R, and working error/rejected claims in the clearinghouse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; Prior billing and collections experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills and organizational skills.
• A pleasant phone demeanor and ability to communicate positively.
• Detail oriented and able to exercise judgment and discretion in confidential matters.
• Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health policies.
