Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

This is a great opportunity to become a member of the finance team for a company that is disrupting the retail market. We are looking for a Senior Accountant with a positive attitude who is highly motivated to learn and grow within a fast-paced organization.

In Short

• Perform month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.
• Conduct financial statement analysis and document explanations for fluctuations.
• Manage accounts payable and ensure efficient processing of vendor transactions.
• Assist in cash management and review bank transactions weekly.
• Review financial statements for GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate with FP&A and business partners for accurate reporting.
• Participate in process improvement projects.
• Implement new accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare schedules and reports for management.
• Support external audit requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Attention to detail and commitment to process improvement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with excellent time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word).
• CPA preferred.
