Overview

BlueCat is seeking a bright, enthusiastic individual with a network-related career background to join as a Sales Engineer/Solutions Architect. This role involves working closely with the sales team, clients, and partners to ensure customer success through technical engagement.

In Short

• Deliver on-site and web-based discussions and formal presentations.
• Participate in trade shows, seminars, and speaking engagements.
• Identify new business opportunities.
• Lead technical responses to proposals and RFPs.
• Provide technical pre-sales support for BlueCat’s solution.
• Consult on solution architecture aligned with client’s goals.
• Design solution architecture using BlueCat technologies.
• Provide feedback to Product Management on product functionality.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts.
• Outstanding presentation and selling skills.
• 4+ years of experience in Network, Security, Virtualization, or Cloud Systems Sales Engineering.
• Good network system administration experience with TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience designing solution architectures for enterprise software or networking.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, and LAN/WAN design.
• Familiarity with LINUX platforms is an advantage.
• Intermediate scripting skills in languages such as Python or Perl.
• Knowledge of managing DNS and DHCP on Windows Server.
