Overview

As a Retirement Plan Administration Consultant, you will use your expertise in retirement plans to help employees build financial independence.

In Short

  • Manage a portfolio of 401(k) client relationships.
  • Perform annual compliance testing.
  • Calculate employer contributions and reconcile trust accounts.
  • Prepare and file annual government forms.
  • Complete or review plan transactions.
  • Interpret plan document provisions.
  • Collaborate with clients and service providers.
  • Stay current on retirement plan regulations.
  • Participate in internal process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional client service.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of direct 401(k) plan administration experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in relevant fields.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Enthusiasm for professional development.
  • Certification (QKA, QPA, AKS, or APA) is desirable.
