Overview

Blockstream is seeking engineers to build high-performance software back-end infrastructure that integrates seamlessly with user-facing features, contributing to innovative Bitcoin solutions.

In Short

• Work with various programming languages and tech stacks.
• Build and maintain robust solutions integrating technology with end users and third-party systems.
• Design, implement, test, deliver, and support software in a CI/CD environment.
• 5+ years of working experience required.
• Extensive knowledge in C/C++, Rust, and test-driven development.
• Experience with API design and development.
• Knowledge of scalable, distributed back-end architectures.
• Cloud development experience (AWS or GCE).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Bitcoin or blockchain technology is a plus.

Requirements

• 5+ years of working experience.
• Extensive knowledge in C/C++, Rust, and test-driven development.
• Experience with API design (RESTful, Websocket, RPC).
• Knowledge of functional programming.
• Experience with back-end infrastructure and sysadmin tools.
• Experience with cloud development (AWS or GCE).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Highly self-motivated and a lifetime learner.
• Experience with Bitcoin or blockchain technology is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
