Overview

As an Accountant at BizAway, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and success of our Accounting and Administration Team by managing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

In Short

• Receive, review, and process vendor invoices accurately.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly/monthly payment runs.
• Ensure accurate recording of payments in the accounting system.
• Prepare daily bank reconciliations.
• Manage relations with vendors and local banks.
• Support month-end closing and financial statement preparation.
• Manage tax deadlines and ensure compliance.
• Assist with external audits and regulatory compliance.
• Improve accounting policies and internal controls.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of international accounting principles.
• Proficient in double entry and reconciliations.
• Very good English and strong communication skills.
• Excellent user of Excel and experienced with ERP systems.
