Overview

As a Senior Web Engineer at BitMEX, you’ll design and implement fast, real-time web applications using React.JS, focusing on performance and user experience.

In Short

• Design and implement web applications for a leading crypto derivatives exchange.
• Develop and maintain the BitMEX Web Frontend and React components.
• Collaborate with API and Engine teams for feature integration.
• Explore and evaluate new stack components and architecture ideas.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Experience with JavaScript, React, and NodeJS.
• Familiarity with Flow/TypeScript.
• Ability to develop complex, data-driven products.
• Understanding of UX trends and concepts.
• Experience in developing APIs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Passion for exploring new technologies.
• Experience with Flux architecture.
