Bitdeer Technologies Group is a leading technology company for Bitcoin mining, seeking a highly motivated and skilled IC Layout Design Engineer to join its team. The role involves the physical layout of integrated circuits, ensuring designs meet performance, power, area, and reliability targets.

In Short

• Perform physical layout of complex analog/mixed-signal circuits.
• Collaborate with circuit design engineers to optimize layout.
• Conduct detailed floorplanning and pin planning.
• Implement techniques to mitigate noise and improve performance.
• Perform comprehensive design rule checking and parasitic extraction.
• Generate and verify GDSII files for tape-out.
• Develop and maintain layout methodologies and scripts.
• Participate in design reviews for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest IC layout tools and methodologies.
• Work in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in IC layout design.
• Proficiency with EDA tools like Cadence Virtuoso.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor physics and processes.
• Experience with DRC, LVS, and PEX verification.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with high-speed SerDes, PLLs, and RF transceivers.
• Knowledge of reliability concepts like electromigration.
