Intern, Medical Evidence Generation - Remote

Overview

The BioMarin Summer Internship Program will enable students to gain valuable experience and knowledge of the processes and systems within BioMarin, while gaining an insight into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

In Short

• Work closely with the Medical Evidence Generation team.
• Understand epidemiologic data and data sources.
• Assist in communication of research findings.
• Perform literature reviews and critically appraise existing evidence.
• Assist with interpretation of study results.
• Create data displays and draft study reports.
• Gain industry experience over 10 - 12 weeks.
• Must be available to work full time, 40 hours a week.
• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student.
• Some positions will be open to remote interns.

Requirements

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to balance priorities and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience conducting reviews of scientific literature.
• Studying towards, or recently completed, a Master’s degree or PhD in Epidemiology or Public Health.
• Must be able to relocate if necessary.
