Intern, Demand Planning Analyst - Remote

Overview

The BioMarin Summer Internship Program will enable students to gain valuable experience and knowledge of the processes and systems within BioMarin, while gaining an insight into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

In Short

• Internship in Demand Planning Analyst role
• 10 - 12 weeks duration
• Work alongside talented team on meaningful projects
• Support Demand Planning in understanding demand dataset
• Propose product segmentation and forecast targets
• Develop process/tool for forecast accuracy improvement
• Collaborate with various teams including Demand and Supply Planning
• Prepare and present outlook projections
• Paid hourly wage and company benefits
• Must be a full-time student or recent graduate

Requirements

• Master’s candidate majoring in supply chain, data science, statistics, or engineering
• Available to work full time, 40 hours a week
• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. university
• Ability to relocate if necessary
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Experience with statistical modeling and data analysis
• Familiarity with Power BI tool building
• Background in supply chain
• Relationship building and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to track and maintain performance metrics
