Overview

Binary Defense is seeking a talented Cybersecurity Incident Response Analyst to support Incident Response and Analysis on Demand cases, driving client meetings, creating technical reports, and leading investigations.

In Short

  • Support Incident Response (IR) and Analysis on Demand (AOD) cases.
  • Conduct incident triage and verification, scoping, and hunting.
  • Serve as primary responder in forensic investigations.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Understand threat actors and evolving tactics.
  • Familiar with Incident Response best practices.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently.
  • Engage in client-facing incident response engagements.
  • Develop and present reports and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
  • Certifications such as GCIH, GCFE, GCFA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in forensics and investigations.
  • 2+ years leading incident response investigations.
  • SME in cybersecurity technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be a US Citizen residing in the continental US.
