Big Leap Health’s mission is to transform access to mental healthcare by empowering clinics to easily launch and scale interventional psychiatry practices, specializing in cutting-edge treatments such as Spravato (esketamine) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). We're building a new standard of care by providing comprehensive operational, administrative, and clinical support, enabling psychiatrists to focus on delivering effective, life-changing treatments.

In Short

• Lead resolution of complex prior authorizations and denials.
• Determine correct coverage path across medical vs. pharmacy benefits.
• Conduct outreach to expedite decisions and secure patient access.
• Interface with clinicians to clarify criteria and align next steps.
• Maintain precise status and outcomes in EHR/CRM/Airtable.
• Coach team members and contribute to SOPs and templates.
• Track payer behavior and propose process improvements.

Requirements

• 4-6+ years in healthcare operations, preferably in behavioral health.
• Strong familiarity with payer policies and clinical documentation.
• Clear and concise communicator with strong documentation skills.
• Proven ability to stay calm while juggling competing priorities.
• Self-directed with a high ownership over work product.
• Bonus: Experience with Spravato, TMS, or similar treatments.
