The Risk Manager will oversee the claims process, manage insurance programs, and ensure compliance with risk management protocols for the agency.

Requirements

• B.S./B.A. required, M.A. preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years in risk management or related fields.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Risk Management Information Systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of insurance, safety, and self-insurance concepts.
• Experience with claims administration in various sectors.
• Familiarity with construction safety and contracts.
• Ability to manage and coordinate cross-departmental projects.
• Experience with RFPs and procurement activities related to risk management.
