Overview

The Sr Manager of Cloud Operations is responsible for leading a team of engineers researching, designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining a mission critical cloud infrastructure used by users located around the globe.

• Lead a team of IT or cloud engineers in a large environment.

• Ensure day-to-day availability, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
• Drive automation of infrastructure deployment using IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring successful completion.
• Operate, secure, and manage AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Establish service levels and provide ongoing performance metrics.
• Integrate and troubleshoot third-party tools for environment management.
• Review pricing and service offerings for cloud economics.

Requirements

• Leadership and communication skills with technical reasoning.
• Experience managing AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Two or more years managing a large cloud environment.
• Experience with automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus).
• Scripting in languages supported by AWS or Azure.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
• AWS or Azure certifications are a plus.
• Experience with other cloud providers like Google Cloud is a plus.
