In Short

• This is an On-site 6-month contract with the possibility of extension and becoming FTE.
• We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to architect and build robust data pipelines and processing systems.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for payroll data processing.
• Architect and implement data lake solutions that handle complex data transformations and integrations.
• Develop robust data quality frameworks and monitoring systems.
• Create and optimize data models for efficient processing and analysis.
• Implement data security and privacy controls ensuring GDPR compliance across regions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical direction of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Extensive experience with SQL and data modeling.
• Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.
• Experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
