Overview

The Senior Claims Representative will directly handle miscellaneous professional liability claims of varying complexity for a variety of professions, including real estate agents, insurance agents, lawyers, allied health medical professionals, and more.

• Manage an active desk of litigated and non-litigated claims.
• Recognize exposures and ensure reserves are adequate.
• Evaluate coverage issues and identify risk transfer opportunities.
• Manage litigation and collaborate with defense counsel.

• Proactively manage claim resolution and strategy.
• Participate in mediations as needed.
• Document claim files according to guidelines.
• Maintain adjuster licenses as required.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required.
• Active home state adjuster license required.
• 3+ years of experience handling professional liability claims preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and internet applications.
• Highly attentive to details.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
