UX & Product Designer - Remote

Overview

For many people on construction sites, Benetics is the first and only software they use for their work. This presents unique usability demands, and that's where you come in.

The digitization of construction sites is still in its infancy, so there is great potential to avoid misunderstandings, time loss, and errors with our digital solution. We do this by putting the people who actually lay pipes, pull cables, and install fire protection at the center.

We are a self-financed startup with an app and web app that has been on the market for 2 years and has more than 150 paying customers.

In Short

• Understand the needs of current and future Benetics users through team discussions, customer feedback databases, and user interviews.
• Collaborate with the development and product team to create solutions for pressing issues and validate designs internally and externally.
• Utilize components from Material Design 3 and React Native Paper for the app, and ANT Design for the web application.
• Enhance the team's understanding of UX, design, and effective communication.
• Foster an environment for initiative and exploration, embracing unconventional approaches.
• Fluent in German and English to communicate with clients and team members effectively.
• Experience in B2B SaaS or startups is a plus.
• Possibility to receive part of the salary in shares of Benetics.
• Work in the office from Monday to Thursday, with Friday as a home office day for those who wish.

Requirements

• Four or more years of experience in UX & Product Design.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Open to initiative and trying new things.
• Understanding Swiss German is a plus.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
