Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Data to join our Knowledge enrichment Team! You will evolve BenchSci’s Knowledge Graph, integrate public life science data into our biological ontology, and operationalize production-grade data pipelines.

In Short

• Scale data pipelines for quick and reliable data transfer.
• Manage semi-structured and unstructured biological data.
• Integrate public life science data into the Knowledge Graph.
• Collaborate with ML and Data engineers to solve data challenges.
• Act as a Technical DRI on multiple projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Expertise in Python coding.
• Experience writing SQL (GQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery).
• Experience with batch and streaming ETL pipelines.
• Understanding of building Knowledge Graphs.
• Experience with cloud development (GCP, Terraform).
• Strong background in data modeling and manipulation.
• Proactive and assertive attitude.
• Experience in cross-functional teams.
