Finance Executive - Remote

Overview

As a Finance Executive at Belvo, you will lead and oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with Mexican regulations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.

In Short

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings for Mexican entities.
• Manage external audits and internal controls for compliance.
• Ensure accuracy in regulatory reporting obligations.
• Collaborate with operations on direct debit reconciliations.
• Drive improvements in reconciliation processes.
• Oversee accounts payable and expense management.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
• Perform cost/managerial accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 4+ years of experience in finance/accounting roles.
• Experience in multi-company accounting, preferably in Mexican markets.
• Knowledge of Mexican regulatory requirements.
• Strong reconciliation skills with bank transactions.
• High attention to detail and methodical work approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
