Senior Grant Writer - Remote

Overview

As the Senior Grant Writer for BBYO, you will play a pivotal role in securing vital funding that drives the success of our programs, empowering Jewish teens and shaping the future of our Movement.

In Short

• Writing BBYO’s national grants in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer
• Providing support and working with fundraisers on grants in local communities
• Working collaboratively with program team leadership to gather information for grants, reports, and funding renewals
• Managing and ensuring adherence to all grant deadlines and milestones
• Ensuring compliance with all financial and programmatic reporting requirements expressed by institutional funders
• Working with finance team to build programmatic budgets and produce accurate financial reports
• Identify, solicit, and steward organizations interested in sponsoring BBYO International Convention
• Identify potential donors and funders as new prospects for future funding
• Organize research strategy sessions with team members
• Provide briefing materials about major donors and prospects to the CEO and executive leadership team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and some experience in nonprofit development
• 3-5 years of experience in written communication and donor stewardship
• Strong track record of effective project management
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
• Capacity to take initiative and lead projects
• Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
