Senior Writer - Remote

Overview

The Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) is hiring a Senior Writer to work with the Messaging and Polling team to develop compelling and creative opinion-based writing that will advance FGA policy solutions in widely read national publications.

In Short

• Develop opinion-based writing for national publications.
• Write ghostwritten op-eds and long-form content.
• Edit FGA materials to maintain style and grammar.
• Craft and edit speeches, testimony, and presentations.

• Assist with messaging development based on polling data.
• Maintain FGA’s brand voice in all written content.
• Participate in quarterly team meetings and orientation.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience in writing and editing.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Comfortable with ghostwriting.
• Experience in legislative work is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
