Software Implementation Consultant - Remote

Overview

The Implementation Consultant supports the tactical executable tasks for the overall project implementation including requirement/data validation and system configuration for new client implementations. The Implementation Consultant is responsible for contributing to and executing project plans, defining business requirements, issue management tracking and resolution, system configuration and functional testing. This position will work multiple implementation projects at the same time and across time zones.

In Short

• Work directly with customers, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring a successful project.
• Collect and review project requirements with clients and work directly with team and clients to determine, design and implement the software solutions.
• Act in a consultative capacity, advising clients on best practices and alternative design decisions.
• Manage simultaneous software implementations for multiple clients.
• Keep well-documented requirements gathered from clients and provide weekly updates.
• Research and troubleshoot issues with System Specialists.
• Handles all migration responsibilities for Go-live.
• Coordinates with different teams in getting a customer environment implementation-ready.
• Provides proactive project communication.
• Responsible for user acceptance testing activities (UAT).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science preferred.
• Experience in After-Market Services / Logistics / Supply Chain industry desirable.
• Proven track record of ability to execute customer program portfolio of projects and services.
• Strength in communication at all levels of the corporate hierarchy.
• Detail oriented, committed to deadlines and have solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% on an annual basis, both domestically and internationally.
